Quick Champs League recap
Saha looked sharp again, getting off 5 goal attempts (2 on target) and really should have scored a couple of times. He also set up Scholes.
Rooney looked active and "into it", but Saha seemed more dangerous. I expect Roon to push forward more with Giggs' pending return at the weekend, and do well.
Ronaldo was also good for numerous shot attempts; his great form continues.
Drogba scored (again) for Chelsea, and Sheva continues to sputter. I wonder if Hilario has earned himself an EPL start - watch for signals from Mourinho on Friday.
Gerrard missed the game versus Bordeaux with a pulled hammy, and may be a doubt for the weekend. Bellamy started with Crouch (who scored) and Aurelio was not in the line-up as Riise was left back.
Arsenal lost in Moscow to CSKA, but Henry had 6 attempts at goal and was very unfortunate to have a goal called back for a dubious hand ball call. I think it will not be long before he translates all the shots into a 2 or 3 goal game. Not necessarily away to Reading, but soon. Rosicky did not seem as good as the weekend - I wonder if he is hit&miss in YFF terms. Fab continues to run the offense effectively, but that hasn't been generating fantasy points of late.
** Note the Balackburn and Tottenham have UEFA Cup games this week, so watch for hints on those line-ups **
