Week 9 International fall-out
Some of the YFF implications:
- Sheva took 9 shots against Scotland, 4 on target, and scored from the spot.
- Rooney looked sluggish in both of England's games.
- Rosicky played 90 minutes against Ireland and set up Koller's goal.
- Ronaldo scored twice against a week opponent on Saturday, and played both games.
- Kuyt went off injured in the first game, missed the second. I'd consider him doubtful for the weekend - but wait for match previews. Crouch anyone ;)
- Kranjcar seemed lively according to match reports (5 attempts, 2 SOT, some crosses).
- Arsenal trio Eboue, Ljungberg and Baptista all picked up injuries and will miss the next 2 games. Info here. Hmm, does that make Djourou or Hoyte a nice, cheap option?
- Samaras scored for Greece.
- RVP bagged goals in both of Holland's qualifiers.
