Week 5 -- Single Game Match-ups

As mentioned earlier, there are still plenty of very good "single-gamers" this week that make for good selections and could easily outscore the "double-gamers".

BOL v. BORO - solid and nearly unbeatable at home, Bolton should win this game against an spotty Boro team. Also a good bet for a clean sheet, though Yakubu is always a danger man. Potential picks: Jussi, Haim Tal, Anelka.

EVE v. WIG - One of the form teams right now, Everton is another solid bet at home. Andy Johnson has had a bright start to the season, providing Moyes with a real finisher up front. He was the first name on my team sheet this week. Howard has been great as well and should be good for the win and maybe a CS.
Potential picks: AJ, Cahill or Arteta, Naysmith, Howard.

TOTT v. FUL - Though they have stuttered to begin the season, Spurs should be able to handle normally woeful road team Fulham, especially given that their best player, Bullard, is injured. A CS is a possibility, and I tip their strikers to score, but don't really fancy the Spurs MFs.
Potential picks: Chimbonda, Ekotto, Mido/Defoe.

BBURN v. ManCity - Rovers are not exactly on fire, but home to a toothless ManCity could see some of their players hit their stride.

Potential picks: MGP, McCarthy, Bentley.

READING, VILLA - a couple of squads that are away this weekend, but that have surprised so far. In doing, they provide some decent picks to fill out a roster.
Potential picks - Sidwell, Shorey, Convey, Barry, Petrov.
