Week 3 Line-up
OK, after much debate and consternation, here is my line-up for this week:
Henry
Sheva
Saha
Fabregas
Duff
Ballack
Sidwell
Aurelio
Cole
Taylor
Jaaskelainen
I really like my back line, but worry that the midfield is a little hit-or-miss. Ronaldo got the chop this week, as I think the Spurs game will be tight and Davids may just kick the lumps our of him. Plus he'll be going up against Chimbonda, who has the pace to stay with him. I'm counting on decent points from my keeper, hoping that he is not overwhelmingly popular this week with most poolies.

I'm smarting over my last minute decision to drop Friedal and Young in favor of Benayoun and Given...What a swing in points!!
I hope this doesn't come back to bite my at the finish.

It's way to early to be fretting about results. Just shows that one can make up 20-30 points in a week.
Friedel had a once-in-a-season type game, I mean 2 !!! PK saves in one match! Who would have guessed that?
Given was looking good until the 80th minute, right around the time Scott Parker came off.

BTW - if you click "PRice Movers" under the Research section, you will see 18 new players that are about to be added to the database. Looks like Anelka starts at 8.25 and Kuyt at 7.14.
Also, there is some debate about whether next round is a double week for Pool & Newcastle, as they play mid week (Sept. 20 I think). It's not yet listed in Yahoo, and may even be a separate week...we'll see.

Tell me about it!!! You & I could use those points from that "missing" match! It seems to be a real Yahoo mess up, but I don't doubt that we will get them eventually...I recall this happening once last year, and it took them a while to figure it out.
